What happens if you turn it 180, so it's upside down, does the screen turn all the way round with it? If you "roll" the phone around the X axis, how does the transition effect work in that scenario? Does it jus "snap to" the correct orientation, or do they have the graphical transition set up to follow correctly and 3D turning, rotating twitting action?
-In landscape mode you can rotate 180° and the iPhone will animate to right the image.
-In portrait mode the Home button has to be on the bottom.
-It will properly rotate the image when flipped 180 on the x axis.So someone facing you can see it. No matter what direction you turn it, the web page will rotate toward the home button. So no viewing it upside down.
-If you rotate the iPhone 180 degrees, it knows it and flips over in one motion to re-orient. However, some apps won't re-orient (YouTube won't), so those can be viewed upside down. Safari won't let you.
